Your life is busy and so is mine. Let’s get down to business. The sea of photographers grows bigger every year and because of that, your job of picking someone grows harder. I don’t want to waste your time because I know how bad that sucks. I’m a little bit of a weirdo, and by little, I mean a lot. Like goofy walks, goofy talks, and dad jokes out that wazoo. So if that’s not your speed, it’s okay I understand. Besides that, I’m a really passionate creative. I love hipster music and herbal teas and I have an electronic/ambient project where I flow my excess creativity. I like working with other passionate creatives too and that doesn’t mean you have to be an artist. I always saw things a little bit differently than everyone else in school and if you feel the same, I think we’ll get along really well. I want to make weird and wild images with you and I want to break out of the comfort zone. These sessions are not for the faint of heart but their rewards are rich.

If someone older is involved in this decision, you might want to pass the phone over.

Mom… Dad… Guardian Involved in this decision… this part is for you. Your baby has grown and now they’re off on their own! (Unless they go to community college, save on dorm costs, and stick around till 22.) They want something more modern than the yearbook studio and this is their chance to get it. All of those photos and poses work against your body and create awkward tension. I know this because I worked for one of these studios for years. When I was a senior, I had three different visits to studios like these and the results kept getting worse. I thought that my friends and I deserved better so I started my business that night. I’ve been dedicated to high quality photography since then because it’s more important than we realize. It’s ceremonial in it’s own way and it helps to signify that grand move into young adulthood. Send your kid off with images of themselves that boost their confidence and pride in who they are.
